I'm finally discovering the world of anime. "Spice and Wolf" starring Holo, a pagan wolf god, and a travelling merchant is the first anime that I have completed. I don't even remember how I was first introduced to this show. I want to say that it was number 10 on a top ten on YouTube or something lol. Anyways, being English dubbed helped me a great deal since I struggle with subtitles and I must say that this is one of my absolute favorite shows that I've ever seen. It's sharp, witty, emotionally deep, and visually gorgeous.
When I finished the show, I knew that I needed to make some artwork inspired by it. That was a few weeks ago. Ever since, I've been working on this render little by little. It turns out that there is no such thing as a good wolf's tail or ears available for my 3D rendering software. I made do with what I could find though and I don't think Holo looks that bad for a first attempt. I guess I'll have to add those props to the list of things that I eventually make myself. Even though this isn't Star Wars and therefore probably disappoints 99% of my Watchers, I hope you like this small tribute to my favorite anime.
This show taught me that anime does have something for me to enjoy. Unfortunately, it seems that I began my meal with dessert since apparently "Spice and Wolf" is one of a kind with no other shows like it. I've found other shows that interest me though and I'm slowly building the library of anime shows that I enjoy. I finished "Sakura Trick" and that was over too soon if you ask me, but I guess it's a really good show if you're left craving more. I'm currently watching "Kill la Kill" and experimenting with a few other shows, but I won't go off into detail on that. If you're not into anime you probably didn't read this far into the description anyways lol. Cheers

I recognized Holo (or Horo in some translations - some say she was supposed to be named after the Greek word for hour) - so you did a good job, and the tail does look pretty good actually. I am actually curious about what tail you used, I have four or five and none of them are that fluffy.
