Star Wars models for DAZ
Images of available Star Wars models for your 3D rendering. Note that these are not downloads but, where possible, download links will be on the pages. Some are hi-res characters and clothing for G8 and G3 models, some are simple objects such as vehicles. I'm hoping this will be a fairly exhaustive look at both free and premium models available for Star Wars fans.

is having a random contest. Pretty much anything that has to do with duality (opposites) goes. The first thing that came to my mind was this. As I am writing my Knight Before The Dawn fan fiction, I can't help but look at the differences between the Barriss Offee that we knew versus the Barriss Offee that was presented to us at the conclusion of Season 5. My story is trying to bridge the two different versions. As I write I am discovering that that is one unbelievably long bridge! So long story short we have what I would call Canon Barriss versus Clone Wars Barriss on the bridge that I am creating.
There is a lot of symbolism and massages in this piece, but I hope that you can at least enjoy the sight of the Barriss that we grew to know and love fighting the good fight against that abomination that was handed to us this past Spring. Cheers!

Well, this piece took me by surprise this morning. And what an interesting metaphor, especially for Star wars fans who enjoy Barriss Offee. I admit my bias, and this piece intrigues me because it is about duality.
Having grown up a pre-Clone Wars Star wars fan, I am conflicted by the turn of events that I feel have been forced upon us with the new changes to a history that I didn't believe needed to be changed.
This piece does a good job summing up that conflict. How do I compromise my old Star Wars expectations with the new changes that have been put into place as "official history"?
This is a debate that is raging in the hearts of many fans and on the internet. Barriss Offee is simply one example of the challenges to continuity. One of the choices we are forced to make.
Do we support Lucas/Filoni against all odds and praise him for every marketing PR decision made that alters Star Wars for the sake of a business, or do we call him out, that the Emperor's new clothes are not real and that we are witnessing a naked fool rather than a genius?
That answer I leave to individual fans as to which "Barriss" of Star Wars they choose to believe in, so to speak.
This piece is the struggle every star Wars fan goes through. It is a harsh conflict for something all of us dearly love. Only a few can walk the line between pro and Anti Continuity. The sad part of this piece is that this debate will not be settled anytime soon, and every fan sooner or later will face this choice.
Well done.
