Description
Kesarah loves to dance the night away and play until dawn. There is a part of her though that yearns for something more. Perhaps one day, she'll have her last first kiss. Until then, she'll be a wallflower.
Nearly two years ago, I was working on a large render involving many characters (Holiday), including one I had just recently constructed, Kesarah Dilligas. When I was almost finished posing her for the scene, I made a test render to make sure that the materials and lighting were all in order. It actually looked kind of nice as a standalone image despite being just a WIP for a larger ensemble piece. So, I cleaned up the render and posted it on DeviantART. This was the third time I had posted anything of Kesarah, and I titled it "Wallflower." It was my original build of her, using the older Victoria 4.2 base model and I honestly cringe when I look at it. Despite my own feelings on this random test render though, this old WIP is still being favorited and is one of my most popular renders in my gallery, beating out a lot of Barrissoka and other more notable renders in amount of favorites.
Out of everything I have done, that old "Wallflower" test render has more favorites than any comic I have made. It has more favorites than all but two of the animations I have posted, and it is the second most-favorited render I have ever made featuring Kesarah. I do not know why you all like that test render so much, but I felt like I owed it to you to go back and make it again with my latest version of Kesarah, featuring my current style and skill set. I hope you like it, and thank you for supporting my artwork.

I think a lot of us identify with the concept of the wallflower. I can't remember how many times I leaned against a wall, desperately wishing I had the courage to talk to a girl I was entranced by, or otherwise doing something where I wish I had the courage to do something that MIGHT change my life for the better. Just WISHING for something to change. I think a lot of us can identify with that. And it doesn't hurt that both versions of the character are beautiful in their own ways.
