Patience

Mensis struggles with even his patience while trapped in a prison cell that is not even tall enough for him to stand in. Perhaps it is the confined space, the stifling heat outside, or maybe some other influence that is causing him to lose his usual stoic demeanor...

I must admit that this render was rather cathartic (sorry, couldn't resist) to make. I hope you like it, and if you'd like to learn more about this scene, I implore you to read a short story written by SlingBlade87 titled Serenity Without, Turmoil Within. It is a fantastic exploration of Mensis' psychology in contrast to his twin sister, Tsulla. After seeing this render, he was inspired to write it and I give it my 100% approval to be part of Mensis' story. 
Serenity Without, Turmoil WithinThe heat filtered into the stone box from the slits built into its sides. The desert sun shone in Mensis' face as he knelt in the center of the box. He could feel his body reacting to the heat as the temperature inside the stone box continued to rise. He couldn't sweat, being Cathar, in the manner that Humans and other species like them did which meant that his body could easily go into shock in this environment. However he was a Jedi, and he was not limited by what his physical form dictated.
Closing his eyes, he focused inside of himself, finding his center as he entered a trance and began his recitations.
“There is no emotion, there is peace”
“You're lying.”
His sister's voice cut through his thoughts but Mensis clenched his hands tightly, focusing past the nagging voice.
“There is no ignorance, there is knowledge.”
“You're a fool.”
Tsulla's voice sounded closer now, but still Mensis focused on his meditation, forcing his body to slow
